Alternative Ways to Engage With Us

Although we are always available via traditional office visits at our Camino location, we also manage issues by phone, by email, and more recently by video conferencing visits. We began using the Doxy platform in March, and have found it very simple to use, and our patients have as well. There are many situations in which I can help you in this way. Non-urgent problems that require face-to-face contact and/or the ability to visually see a child whether it’s a rash, chest movement, abdominal appearance, gait, voice/cough quality etc. are ideal for a video visit. We have already been able to prevent several children from having to be seen in the emergency room for things that can be managed either at home or in a clinic setting. These visits can be arranged directly with me after hours, or with my staff during office hours, as time allows. Video visits are for established patients only. We will continue to provide phone and email advice when appropriate and without additional charge, however insurance plans require documentation and billing for video visits just as for office visits.
